Our guiding principle is the philosophy of "Mercy" and "Respect" for the dignity of each person applying for assistance...

Lack of insurance; language barriers; hard-to-reach populations; lack of awareness; burdensome applications... Can be just a few of the roadblocks our communities face when trying to reduce health disparities and improve health and wellness.

Significant cuts to our state's Medicaid program, coupled with the continually cost of prescription drugs on the rise, and unaffordable co-pays and deductibles, may be the major reasons why countless men, women and children in our state are unable to access follow up care and preventive care.

Patient 1^st was created to provide a helping hand...

How? Through navigating the burdensome process, our adovcates focus on clearing the "roadblocks" our communities and their doctors face when applying and qualifying for private, federal, state, and local drug and healthcare assistance programs available to them.

Terms: Under the Arizona Public Health Association's umbrella, Patient 1^st Med Solutions (Patient 1^st ) acts only as a processing prescription drug and healthcare advocate to serve, educate, identify and connect uninsured, underinsured and indigent individuals to the patient assistance programs offered by pharmaceutical companies and other available community-based programs. Patient 1^st does not manufacture, prescribe, recommend and/or evaluate prescription medications. We are not Medical professionals nor a healthcare facility. However, we refer to our 'Members' as 'Patients' because we serve various physicians' patient population.

In addition, Patient 1^st requires a $10 monthly administration fee (per Rx drug) implemented to serve our members.

Patient 1^st does not guarantee that there is an available patient assistance program for each prescription medication.
